Long stay really splits into two separate questions: "which type of stay should I choose" is a market-level decision, and "what does a long stay at Shinsai Wings actually look like" is a property-level spec question. They're covered on two different pages.
- How to Choose a Month-Long Stay in Osaka (full comparison of 4 options) — if you haven't decided which route to take, read that page first, then come back. Monthly apartments, business hotels, leased apartments and whole-unit minpaku, all four laid out with the same criteria: who it's for, how to book, what to prepare, whether you need your own furniture and appliances, and where the hassle is, plus a length-of-stay table and a side-by-side comparison.
- Osaka Monthly Stay for One Month — if you've already decided on a whole-unit minpaku and are looking at roughly a one-month stay, and want the day-to-day details (kitchen, laundry, internet, remote work).
- Osaka Student Housing — if you're looking at roughly a semester (about three months) and want to compare against student dorms and share houses.
- This page (Osaka Long Stay Overview) — the spec table for Shinsai Wings' four bookable room types, the itemized furniture/appliance list already in place on move-in day, and how to ask about availability and move-in month.

Not sure which to click? Match yourself to one of these. This section only points the way — the actual criteria are on the page it links to.
- Language school or exchange student (staying one semester) → Osaka Student Housing
- Working holiday, just landed and still settling in (staying one to three months while job- and apartment-hunting) → read the full comparison of 4 options first, then come back to this page's furniture list
- Remote work or a short-term posting (need internet, a place to sit and work, a door you can close for video calls) → Osaka Monthly Stay for One Month
- Accompanying someone for study, medical care, or traveling with family (more people, more luggage, need a complete space to actually live in) → go straight to the room-spec table and furniture list further down this page
- Just want to know if we can arrange a specific month → skip to "When can I move in? How to ask about availability" at the end of this page
Still deciding among the four options? The full set of criteria — how long you're staying decides which option, shared vs. private bathroom, whether you need to buy your own furniture, how the four options price differently — is all on "How to Choose a Month-Long Stay in Osaka." That page covers the whole decision in one place, so the same thing isn't repeated twice.

Room specs: a standalone building, every room type a complete home of its own
Shinsai Wings is in Sangenya-higashi, Taisho Ward, Osaka, a standalone building. Every room type is a fully independent whole unit, the only one of its kind in the house: its own bathroom, its own full kitchen, its own dining area — no other guest ever passes through your space.
The hardware and room types are exactly the same as a nightly stay; the only difference is that more nights booked gets you a better monthly rate. Every bookable room type has a full kitchen; a balcony comes with Room B, C and D; a tatami bedroom comes with Room A and Room D only; every room type has its own private bathroom, and all of them include a bathtub.

Monthly rent table for monthly, short-term and half-year stays (electricity, water, gas & internet included)
Long-stay monthly rent is set out in the table below, and all four room types include electricity, water, gas and internet in the rent — no separate billing. The terms in full: no high deposit, no key money, no agency fee (just one month's deposit, refunded in full once checkout is confirmed clear), and no guarantor required. Payment happens in three steps: half a month's rent as a booking deposit → one month's rent as a deposit at check-in → the deposit refunded in full once checkout is confirmed clear.

Which dates are bookable for each room type changes day to day — tell the official LINE @040fyjwd your move-in month and length of stay, and we'll reply based on actual availability at the time.
When can I move in? How to ask about availability
"When can I move in" is a standard field on Japanese monthly-rental platforms, and it's usually the first thing that trips up a long stay. Here's exactly how we handle it:
- This website doesn't show live availability, and doesn't claim any room type is open right now.
- The calendars for Room B, C and D are maintained by the management company on each listing page — go by what's shown there.
- To check a specific month, just tell the official LINE your expected move-in month, how many months, and headcount, and we'll reply based on the actual situation at the time.
- You can ask before you've settled on dates too — asking needs no documents, and asking doesn't commit you to booking.
FAQ
How is staying at a minpaku different from renting a monthly apartment for a month in Osaka?
The biggest difference is whether you have to furnish the place yourself, and how the booking works. Shinsai Wings is a licensed nightly-stay minpaku, so more nights booked means a better monthly rate, and the furniture and appliances are already there — bring your luggage and start living. Renting a regular empty apartment usually means an empty handover: bed, fridge, washing machine and curtains are all on you, and you have to handle disposal when you leave. A monthly apartment (マンスリーマンション) is also usually furnished, but terms and available lengths vary by operator — check each listing directly.
First time staying long-term in Osaka — do I need to bring my own furniture and appliances?
Not at Shinsai Wings. Every bookable room type has a full kitchen, a private dining area, and a private bathroom with a bathtub, and on move-in day it's already equipped with air conditioning, a TV, fridge, washing machine, microwave, stovetop, cookware, dishes and brand-new bedding. You get a fully furnished home at a nightly-minpaku price, with nothing extra to buy.
What's the minimum stay for a month-or-longer stay? Can I stay six months or a year?
From one month, priced by the month; six-months-or-longer stays are available in Room B, C or D, and Room A suits a 1–3 month stay. How long you can actually arrange depends on room availability at the time — tell the official LINE @040fyjwd your expected move-in month, headcount, and roughly how long you'd like to stay.
Can I book Shinsai Wings by the month, short-term, or for half a year?
Yes. Shinsai Wings is a licensed nightly-stay minpaku, so more nights booked means a better monthly rate: short stays from one month, priced by the month; six-months-or-longer stays are available in Room B, C or D, and Room A suits a 1–3 month stay. Monthly rent starts at ¥160,000 (including electricity, water, gas and internet) — see Table 3 on this page for all four room types. How long you can actually arrange depends on room availability at the time — tell the official LINE @040fyjwd your expected move-in month and roughly how long you'd like to stay.
When can I move in? Does the website show live availability?
This website doesn't show live availability, and doesn't claim any room type is open right now. The calendars for Room B, C and D are maintained by the management company on each listing page — go by what's shown there. To check a specific month, just tell the official LINE your expected move-in month, how many months, and headcount, and we'll reply based on the actual situation at the time.
Is Taisho Ward convenient for daily life? Are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby?
Shinsai Wings is in Sangenya-higashi, Taisho Ward, Osaka; the nearest station is JR Taisho. Taisho Ward is a residential area with supermarkets, convenience stores and drugstores, at a slower pace than the city center. The operating hours and exact locations of individual nearby shops are unverified on this site — check a map app or the shop's own current listing.
I don't speak Japanese — can I talk to the host directly in Chinese?
Yes. The host is Taiwanese, and communicates entirely in Chinese from your first question through move-in day — no translation layer, and no need to call anyone in Japanese yourself.
No high deposit, no guarantor — is that the same for both stay types?
Yes — both the short-term student stay and the mid-to-long-term monthly stay are guarantor-free, with no high deposit, no key money and no agency fee (just one month's deposit, refunded in full once checkout is confirmed clear). That's the entry condition, not the main point of this page; the real difference is whether the furniture and appliances are already there for you. Monthly rent starts at ¥160,000; see Table 3 on this page for all four room types.
Can I register my residential address (住民登録)?
Whether an address registration (住民登録) is accepted is entirely up to the local ward office — they hold the authority, and it depends on your residence status and actual living situation. If your paperwork needs to happen in a specific order, say so in your very first message, and we'll help confirm it in Chinese.
Which room types can I book for a longer stay? What's the difference between them?
Every bookable room type can be booked for more nights. Every room type has a full kitchen and a private bathroom (with bathtub); a balcony comes with Room B, C and D; a tatami bedroom comes with Room A and Room D only. Full specs are in Table 2 on this page.
